Heritage Update
The Pendulum Swings
Human emotions frequently influence otherwise rational investment decisions. In times of uncertainty, fear can trigger hasty retreats from capital markets, while the allure of greed entices investors toward high-risk endeavors during prosperous times. Unfortunately, these emotionally charged decisions often deviate from prudent strategies and frequently yield subpar returns. Nevertheless, the seasoned expertise of a competent advisor offers a stabilizing influence, helping to mitigate impulsive reactions and guide investors towards a more secure financial future.
Community Restoration
In July, members of the Heritage team partnered with the South Florida Audubon Society for a dune restoration project in Pompano Beach. The goal of the project is to restore natural habitats for both land and sea animals by removing litter and invasive plant species, encouraging the native landscape to thrive. If you are walking south of the Pompano pier, keep an eye out for our sign commemorating the restored dune!
Employee Profile
Frederick R. MacLean, Sr.
Founder
In this newsletter you will find the obituary for Fred MacLean, Sr. Fred lived an amazing life and was instrumental in the creation of Heritage. It was Fred’s, and his wife, Sherry’s, desire to find a great wealth management solution for the clients of their law firm, MacLean and Ema. They knew that objectivity and a fiduciary relationship was the best base upon which to build an advisory firm.
Heritage was created in 1993, and 30 years later we now assist families across the country with their wealth management needs. We follow the same objective approach that we opened our doors with 30 years ago.
It was a privilege and a pleasure to work with Fred, Sr. through these years. We are deeply saddened by Fred’s passing, but his memory and guiding principles will be with us forever.
